A dutch friend once called me the "Queen of Amsterdam" she's not lyin. After living there for 4 years, learning the language, culture and history, I like to think I qualify as an honorary Amsterdammer. My dutch ancestors would be so proud of me.
I started this blog because lots of friends and family write me saying, "I'm going to Amsterdam! What should I do/see/eat, etc." Jealous...anyway...so instead of boring emails I decided to write a one page newsletter. It got a little out of hand and turned into a blog after I realized how much there is to experience in Amsterdam.
I hope you enjoy "going dutchie!" and if you're blessed enough to go, I hope you will love Amsterdam ALMOST as much as I do =)
